Attached you will find the weekly construction update for the subject project.  If anyone has questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call or shoot me an email.  Also, please feel free to pass this email on to anyone that I may have forgotten that would like to see it.  I have also attached a 3-week outlook schedule which shows when stage 2 construction will begin.  Please note that the contractor is a couple of days behind so stage 2 will most likely not begin until Monday, June 18th.

There has been a Facebook page created called “Prairie du Chien Road Construction 2018.”  There will be road/driveway closure updates and useful information posted to this page to assist travelers and customers in getting to their desired destination.  Please feel free to like and follow this page if you would like updates on the best way to get around construction and access businesses in the stage 1 construction!

Over the course of the next week we will be shifting traffic around more than normal to finish up the curb and gutter and driveways in Wells Street as well as Crawford Street.  At some point Wells Street will be closed to finish the Kwik Trip and Hardee’s entrances, however this will not happen until we have access to those businesses from STH 35 open.  You may have also noticed that the alley behind the car wash next to the PDC Auto Clinic was closed today to pour a new concrete sidewalk across the alley.  Please use STH 35 from the north to access the PDC Auto Clinic as well as the car wash located there.  For more real-time updates on driveway closures and business access please follow the Facebook page mentioned above.

A reminder that our next bi-weekly public meeting will take place Tuesday, June 19th at 3 PM at the Prairie du Chien City Hall.  If you have questions or concerns regarding construction please stop by the meeting so that it can be discussed.
