The Common Council meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month. If the regularly-scheduled meeting of the Council falls on an election day, the meeting must be moved to the following week, according to City Ordinance. The Council meetings begin at 7:00 PM and are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The meetings are also televised on Media-Com Channel 6.
