Description: This park located on the west side of St. Feriole Island along the Mississippi River existed as a community park before the floodplain relocation project. Lawler Park continues to have a separate identity from the other recreational facilities on St. Feriole Island. Lawler Park hosts events such as graduations, birthdays, and Concerts in the Park. Amenities: The park has two large reservable picnic pavilions, a reservable interpretive center, playground equipment, handicapped accessible restrooms, a riverfront dock with accessibility to a nearby restaurant, fishing locations, a spacious garden area, and a public parking area. All shelters have picnic tables, electric power, and a grill.
Size: This park covers approximately four acres, offering the enjoyment of the river and scenic views.
