Trick or treat

This year Halloween will be on Tuesday, October 31st in the city of Prairie du Chien. As with prior years, the sirens will sound at 5:00 PM to begin and 8:00 PM to end.

Chief of Police Chad Abram would like you to remember these safety tips:

*Watch for children crossing the street.

*Make sure that your child’s costume has reflective material.

*A parent or adult friend should accompany children.

*Pay attention to all traffic signs and signals.

*Trick or Treat at those houses with porch lights on.

*Stay in neighborhoods that you are familiar with.     As always if you have any questions or concerns call the Prairie du Chien Police Department.
