AIRPORT MANAGER — CITY OF PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI

POSITION SUMMARY: Professional individual promoting, facilitating, and coordinating municipal airport activities for City of Prairie du Chien.

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of general office equipment and Microsoft Office. Communicates effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to prepare and present accurate and reliable reports. Ability to operate machinery.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, five years of managerial experience, and/or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and ability to make minor repairs to airport lights, fences, and other equipment.
  • Aviation management experience.
  • Pilot’s license.
  • Accreditation certification from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE)
  • Willingness to pursue achieving a Certified Flight Instruction and/or Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic rating(s).

WORK HOURS:  40 hours/week; Schedule TBD

SALARY: $51,937.60 – $62,753.60/year DOQ.  This is a full-time non-exempt position.  City benefits, including health insurance and retirement.
